Impactful Messages in 2018
As someone who strives to create impactful and not influential content, I make an effort to soak in those moments throughout the year when people have produced prolific messages.

I hope some of my most favorite moments throughout 2018 that I shared with you brought you joy, hope, inspiration, peace, comfort, awareness, and visibility. I often hear people talk about how they spend too much time on social media and how they need to get off of it -- but I think what's more important is what is on your social media and what you are able to take away from it from the limited amount of time that you should be on it. From seeing Gabrielle Union talk about her miscarriage journey to watching young Alis Forte sing her song "After the Storm" after my home was struck with two category-5 hurricanes in late 2017 to watching and learning from each Monday's Facebook episode of Red Table Talk to Tarana Burke's TED talk reminder of how #MeToo is a movement and not a moment, I am continuously inspired by where we are but also reminded about how much more needs to be done.
Let me know which one of these moments were special to you.
